Please note, to obtain certification there are two required dives – Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation – and you choose the other three, for a total of five dives. During the Advanced Open Water dives you learn how to plan dives to deal with the physiological effects and challenges of deeper scuba diving. The Underwater Navigation Dive refines your compass navigation skills and helps you better navigate using kick-cycles, visual landmarks and time.
Overview
The Advanced Scuba Diver course is for certified divers who desire additional training or orientation to a variety of diving sites and conditions. Divers must be a minimum of 10 years of age, in good health and must be previously certified as a NAUI Scuba Diver or equivalent.
